Dr. Sandra is absolutely amazing we had made arrangements for a at home Friday visit but our girl Mia decided her time was going to be on Thursday. Dr. Sandra still made the time to come to our home and still make us those special paw & nose prints along with Mia’s lock of hair. It truly meant the world to us her compassion and support of losing your best friend process is not an easy one but she made a hard day a little more brighter. Mia was lucky and made it to her birthday July 15 she just turned 11. She had been fighting the Degenerative Myelopathy disease for over two years she was truly a determined dog who defied the obstacles life was giving her. Mia went to aqua therapy weekly and ran around in her wheelchair daily she was a wonderful big sister to her fur sister Callie and the greatest gift to my wife and I. Mia shared in many of our lives milestones and that will never be forgotten, she was not only an amazing dog but she was our family that piece that can never be replaced, and she is really going to be missed but not only by us but by the many people who have met her in her lifetime. “Never forget that between Hello and Goodbye there was love, so much love.”
